  • Dinner/Silent Auction - Scheduled for December - this is a wonderful adults only dinner and silent auction.  There will
be many giveaways, gift baskets to bid on and an opportunity to meet other parents of Blackberry Creek Elementary
    children.

  • Barnes & Noble Book Fair -  The Barnes & Noble Book Fair is an opportunity to raise PTO funds through in-store book
sales when a shopping voucher is presented during the designated day.  The amount of contribution received by the
PTO is based on the purchases made by our Blackberry Creek parents, family & friends!

  • Spaghetti Dinner - For more information or please contact the KBC-PTO at  kbc_pto@yahoo.com.

  • McDonald's McCare Night - this is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding fundraisers we offer to the school.  We
ask that you stop by for dinner anytime between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm on the third Thursday of every month, Sept. thru
May (excluding Dec.)  at the McDonald's at the corner of Rt. 38 and Rt. 47 in Elburn.  Different members of the Kaneland
Blackberry Creek Staff will be there from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm to meet and greet you each month.  McDonald's then gives
us a percentage of all sales made between these hours.  We ask you to PLEASE deposit your sales receipt in the box
provided on the counter.  If you "drive-thru", just mention to the clerk you are supporting McCare Night.  Watch for
upcoming details in the KBC-PTO Newsletters each month and we hope to see you there!

  • Spring Family Fling - This fun filled Family Dance takes place in the month of May.  Students and their families are
invited to an evening in the school gym of dancing the night away.  The students vote on a dance theme, a DJ provides
the music, raffle prizes are awarded, and concessions available.  It has been a popular event for the past 3 years and
    everyone looks forward to it.
The PTO also
coordinates
many other
activities or
projects to
assist the
teaching and
administrative
staff, keep
information
accessible to
the families
and try to
make this the
best learning
experience  it
can be for our
children.
Here are

the data and distribute the directory by the beginning of October.

House.  Volunteers are needed to help sort, organize, and wrap the auction items collected.

  • Yearbook - It is the "mission" of the Yearbook Team to capture our uniquely creative, child-centered school
experiences; while documenting and highlighting the school year in photos.  This process begins with "snapping those
photographs!"  In order to create a successful yearbook, we are requesting help from all parents.  Whenever you're
helping out at the school or on a class field trip, please be sure to capture that messy, proud, challenging, excited, joyful
--- whatever! --- moment on film!  Yearbooks are available for purchase toward the end of the school year!
